    Chapter News

Join us for our first meeting of the 2010-2011 IAAP year - Wednesday, September 22, 2010

The start of a new year is much like the start of a new school year - we come back refreshed and motivated, ready to forge ahead on what the year holds.  We set well-intentioned goals and sometimes find ourselves derailed by habits we'd like to change, but never quite achieve.  Step into Fall learning how to Make Good Habits STICK!  As he guides us through the "Five Steps of Transformation", Larry Birckhead of
HabitShift, is an entertaining and engaging speaker you will not want to miss.  Larry's presentation will touch everyone in some way.  We look forward to seeing you there!

The British Columbia/Washington Education Forum (formerly Hands Across the Border), hosted by the Vancouver and Fraser Valley chapters, is being held at the Coast Hotel & Convention Centre in Langley BC on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.  The event promises to be filled with great educational speakers, networking opportunities and fun.  Further information available from Maureen Glover, Coordinator.

If you are an administrative professional working and/or living in the Fraser Valley and would like to make an investment in your career, please contact our Membership Chair for information on our Association or check us out by attending our next meeting at the Guildford Golf and Country Club.

Changes to the Certification Program (CPS/CAP) were recently announced at the Education Forum and Annual Meeting from July 18 to 21st.  Take a look at Kathy Schoneboom's Fact Sheet
